Pink , Polka Dots, and Fairies

Growing up I was not a girl who liked pink. I was a rebel. My favorite color was blue and my sister was the pink lover. But somehow, somewhere that all changed. I love this party! From the polka dot paper lanterns to the fairy cookies. The details put into this party would make any girl scream!

Turquoise and Brown with Polka Dots

While going through my favorite blogs. I came along this party at Attention2Detail. This party is to die for. It can be used for so many different occasions. What is not to love about Polka Dots? I love how the backdrop and the balloons add so much. Yet so simple in the way that they do. All just blends in so perfectly.

What would you use this design for? Baby Shower? Bridal Shower? Birthday Party? Girls Night Out? The possibilities are endless?

A mini homemade party for my hubby

Yesterday was my husbands birthday. There are only three of us in the family. Him, I and our son. He worked yesterday and I was home with our son. We always like to come up with creative ways to surprise each other. It doesn't have to cost or be expensive. It has to be something you made with what you have when you are home.

So my husband had my car and there was no way for us to leave so we really had to get creative. Since it is only three of us. It was not as if I had to plan for a bunch of people. We cooked his favorite meal of pasta and then came up with this:

My husband loves beer. But I didn't have any at home. Nor do I drink it or support others habits lol. So I figured that I would implement it in the design of his mini party.

We made vanilla cupcakes from  scratch.
Topped off with Icing from Scratch. Thank goodness I was only making a few cupcakes because I was working with the bare minimum. I have not gone shopping yet.
We designed some cupcake toppers, a bag, and some party hats.
The party was about to be on for this Trio!

Our gift bag

Our Hats( Had such cute pictures of the boys wearing their hats. But was made to promise I wouldn't post)
And Our Cupcakes. Well one of them at least!

Dino Party

This Dinosaur party has to be one of the cutest out there. I love the color scheme. Also look at how great the back drop meshes well with all the party decor.

Look at those cupcake toppers. How they blend so well together and are just seamless with their presentation. What person doesn't love Krispie treats? Made into lollipops and bagged. Made such a lovely presentation.

Rainbow Party

This rainbow party has to be one of the cutest ones out there. The way they used umbrellas to match the decor is so adorable.

Look here how they cut donuts in half and made them into rainbows. The polka dot cups filled with popcorn. Could even color the popcorn to match the theme also. The possibilities are endless.
